About
I'm not trying to be consistent. I'm trying to be honest.
This website is a record of how I think — not a polished version of it. The essays, logs, ideas, and quotes here are snapshots. Some will age well. Some won't. That's the point.
Lately I've been obsessed with how ideas form — how a loose thought becomes a conviction, how a conviction gets dismantled by a single good sentence. Articulation fascinates me not as a performance skill but as a thinking tool. If I can't write it clearly, I probably don't understand it yet.
I document because I want to be a reliable narrator of my own life. Not for anyone else — for the version of me ten years from now who will read this and either cringe or nod. Both are useful.
The things that hold my attention right now: curating ideas worth keeping, writing that earns its length, and the gap between what people say they believe and how they actually live.
What's here
Writings are longer essays — attempts to think clearly about things that are hard to think clearly about. Logs are shorter: fragments, observations, and updates that don't warrant a full essay but feel worth preserving. Ideas are even looser — single thoughts, sometimes threaded together when one pulls on another. Quotes are lines I keep returning to, collected from books and conversations. Links are things worth reading elsewhere. The bookshelf tracks what I've read and what left a mark. The problems page is a running list of things I'm thinking through — defined clearly, tracked honestly, marked solved when they are. The now page is a snapshot of what I'm currently doing.
